Glen Oak Golf & Banquet Facilities

I had my bridal shower at Glen Oak. It was lovely! The food was excellent. The serving staff did a great job. The banquet room has a beautiful view of the golf course. Everyone had good comments about the shower. I almost wish I was also having my wedding there!

Can I just say Glen Oak, and Janet did an amazing job! We were worried about the weather so when we arrived for our rehearsal she had everything arranged for an indoor wedding to relieve stress! It was beautiful! She kept coming up asking if we needed anything and even found me a pin when my bustle broke! We got sooo Many compliments on the food and it was really warm! Absolutely amazing!

Our wedding turned out beautiful at Glen Oak in September. Janet responded to all of my emails promptly. Glen Oak is a really beautiful place to have your wedding. We had the ceremony and the reception there. The gazebo setting is beautiful, and the patio off the reception area overlooks the gazebo. There isn't a lot of flexibility though. The packages are very reasonable, but if you want to add an extra hour of bar it will cost no head count you will have to pay as if everyone was still there. We needed a table for our ceremony, and it was big to do. We ended up using a bar stool which was fine there was a tablecloth over it nobody would have known. My husband was getting ready downstairs, and a waiter was complaining how dare we ask for such a thing. Other than that one experience everyone was nice to us and service was wonderful.

I absolutely loved Glen Oak. From our first meeting with Janet until the last moment of our reception, I could not have been more pleased. We received many comments from guests about the lovely venue and excellent food. The room includes a "loft" with comfy chairs and a large mirror for pictures, etc. which overlooks the dining room, a wall of windows overlooking the golf course, a gazebo for pictures, and an outdoor deck for dancing after dinner. Janet was wonderful to work with--very friendly, professional and knowledgable. She made the process easy and stress free for us. She even ordered up perfect weather at no extra charge!

Janet was awesome to work with and she truly seems like she wants your day to be as special as you do. The food was fantastic, the location is perfect. I received many compliments and was very happy overall. The only small things that I wasn't happy with were that they were supposed to use the flower petals that the florist delivered on the tables and they didn't, I got them in a box after the reception. There may have been miscommunication, so not a big deal for me. Also, they threw away a few things that were supposed to be returned to the cake baker and when I brought it up to the person in charge at the end of the night, I felt like she blew me off. Also, the same woman, had a little attitude with my husband, my father in law and another guest. I wasn't happy about those things, but it really paled in comparison to how nice the rest of the service at Glen Oak was. I would still recommend them to anyone.

Janet and the crew were very professional. Janet tries to make sure that everything works and runs smoothly. I was very pleased with my reception and wouldn't ask for anything more. Note: Sometimes the neighbors might get upset with the loud music and become vendictive. At our reception, the D.J. just finished and someone ran up and threw chinese food over the balcony, it splattered and hit 2 of my guests. This is not the fault of the staff but it would have been nice to know before hand and an I'm sorry by the banquet manager would have been nice. I now have to pay for the dry cleaning bills of my 2 guests.

Glen Oak was a fantastic choice for our wedding venue. Janet was wonderful to work with and ensured that everything went very smoothly on our wedding day. We received so many compliments on the food! Highly recommended!

I loved my experience at Glen Oaks. Janet, the banquet coordinator was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable, and she seemed to really care about making my reception a success. The food was phenomenal. Everyone raved about it. We had a buffet-style dinner, which worked out great for us. The package we got included a cheese/fruit/veggie/dips setup during the cocktail hour, 4-hour open bar, champagne toast for all guests, a salad that was passed by waiters, different breads, a cold macaroni salad, hot vegetable, potatoes, pasta, 3 different meats, our cake cut and passed, and coffee/tea. It was a great value. Our reception was on a Friday, so we got an even better deal. Also, the ambiance of the banquet center at Glen Oaks is gorgeous! There is an indoor and an outdoor section and both were very intimate and lovely. I highly recommend Glen Oaks for your wedding reception, as my experience was wonderful!
